Keith is a 4th generation family winemaker in the Hunter Valley. His great-grandfather J.Y.Tulloch began winemaking in Pokolbin in 1896, thereby making the Tulloch family one of only a handful in Australia who can claim to have wine history spanning three centuries. |
|
By the 1960's, with 25 family shareholders, the Tulloch family owned the greatest vineyard area of any family in the Hunter, and the Tulloch Private Bin Dry Red was the most recognised Hunter Valley wine in the Sydney wine marketplace. In 1969, after the death of Keith's grandfather James, the Tulloch wine business was sold.
