The French call it Pinot Gris, the Italians Pinot Grigio- we just call it a fantastic variety!
Grown in the cool climate Hilltops region of NSW, the wine has a slight copper hue which is a natural attribute of this grape variety. The grapes are highly coloured at ripeness and the juice has a beautiful pink colour while fermenting.
This Pinot Gris is slightly perfumed, slightly minerally and very tasty, with great texture and mineral characters on the palate. The richly textured palate has a dry slate finish making this the perfect white for salads and seafood.
