(Six Pack) An excellent growing season in the Hunter Valley for both whites and reds, although a somewhat earlier vintage than usual. A hot spring led off a great ripening period with an exceptionally hot January following. Whites came off early to mid-January, with Reds ripening throughout February with no weather concerns.
A vintage producing Shiraz similar to the old school version of Hunter Burgundy. Highly aromatic, an essence of violets, cedar and mixed berries on the nose. Medium bodied with a rich vibrant palate, enveloping the soft dusty tannins and luscious fruit.
