In its first outing this wine beat 600 other Chardonnays from all over Australia to win the James Halliday Chardonnay Challenge. Not a bad debut! It sold out within 30 hours but we snuck a few bottles into the cellar...
"Complex but generous. Grapefruit, bran, white peach and struck match notes fly about the palate, causing trouble as they go, in the most positive of senses. Stony, flinty length tops things off perfectly."
